The Institution Theater

The Institution Theater hosts a savage variety show that culminates in a battle for comic supremacy with Wheelhouse of Spectacular Wow Times. The show runs Friday nights at 8 p.m. from January 13th through 27th.

The variety show is headlined by a weekly Comedy Challenge, where two titans of ham step into the ring in a battle of comedic one-upmanship in joke offs, mudslinging debates and character lightning rounds. Leading up to each week's main event will be a mash up of comedy acts, music and the absurd.

The show is hosted by the most enthusiastic of simpletons, John Buseman and Christine Giordano (from the improv troupe There's Waldo), and musically accompanied by the epic one-man-house-band, Max McCloud. Each week will feature special guests, with Rob Gagnon, Southpaw Jones, Maggie Maye, Jason Vines and Your Terrific Neighbors taking the stage on January 13th.
