As an awkward, accordion-playing teenager, Yankovic got his start sending in homemade tapes to the "Dr. Demento Radio Show."  Through a varied and successful career that is now entering its fourth decade, Yankovic has won three Grammy Awards from 12 nominations, racked up 31 gold and platinum albums and won countless awards and accolades for parody classics that include "Eat It," "Like a Surgeon," "Fat," "Smells Like Nirvana," "Amish Paradise" and "The Saga Begins."
His previous 2006 album, Straight Outta Lynwood, was the highest-charting of his career, spawning the Billboard Top 10 single "White & Nerdy."  The video of the song spent two months at Number One on iTunes and garnered more than 100 million hits on the Internet.
Tickets will be available by phone, online and in store at Waterloo Records.  For more information and tickets, call (877) 435-9849 or visit www.ACL-Live.com.
