Who Said Vaudeville
Was Dead? present their new monthly vaudevillian variety show
on the second Sundays of each month. Featuring live
music, comical vaudeville acts, and circus, the show plays the
29th Street Ballroom’s Outdoor Amphitheater Stage, in the
back of the Spider House Cafe, starting at 8 p.m.
For the inaugural
performance, the Vespertine Circus of Clowns will fly in on
aerial silks from Oakland, California. Local performers
include Luna Tart, Erika Maassen, Brynn Route of Brass Ovaries,
Steve Harwood and Mr. Fancy Pants, and more.
Admission ranges from $5
to $20 on a sliding scale. The 29th Street Ballroom -
formerly the Art Authority - is located at 510 West 29th
