Rodeo Austin Gala

     The Diamond Celebration of the this year's Rodeo Austin kicks off with the annual Gala on February 11th, featuring performances by county recording artists Ronnie Dunn and Radney Foster.  The Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo at the Palmer Events Center includes four-course fine dining, auctions and live entertainment.
     The Gala evening will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres coupled with live entertainment and silent auction items.  New to this year's event is a live auction featuring several specialty items.  
    Ronnie Dunn, longtime member of country group Brooks and Dunn and winner of more than 27 ACM Awards, will perform numbers fromhis latest self-titled album along with old favorites.  Also featured at the 2012 Gala is Texas native and songwriter, recording artist and producer Radney Foster.  
     Each year, the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo contributes thousands of dollars to the youth of Texas through its scholarship program, which is supported by funds raised at the annual Gala as well as other events.  As one of the largest black tie affairs in Austin, the Rodeo Austin Gala supports Rodeo Austin's mission of "promoting youth education - preserving western heritage."
    Individual tickets are $200, and tables of 10 are priced between $1,500 and $5,500. Tables and individual seats are available for purchase now at www.RodeoAustin.com.
