Martin Sexton is a
critically-acclaimed “musician’s musician”
and prolific recording artist. His songs are intricate and
spirited, covering the American musical landscape and
distilling soul, gospel, R&B and country and blues.
His performances are
dynamic and bursting with depth - and have earned him a devoted
following among fans, peers and critics alike. He brings
his unique stylings to ACL Live for Valentine’s weekend
in a special concert on February 11th.
In April 2010, Sexton
headed back into the studio and seven days later emerged with
his new album, Sugarcoating. From headlining premiere venues and
overseeing his fiercely independent label, Sexton derives great
satisfaction from “livin’ the life”
he’s sketched for himself. Billboard describes him as
“the real thing, people, a star with potential to
permanently affect the musical landscape and keep us
entertained for years to come.”
Tickets are $20 to
$25. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the show
beginning at 8 p.m.
