With June Cleaver and Carol Brady no longer available to instruct the public on important life lessons that lead to successful, morally obligated lives, the ladies of Coldtowne Theatre plan to fill the gap. Every Thursday in August, the all-female comedy troupe Sarah 7 will teach Life Lessons: Things Your Mother Never Taught You.

The six female comics will be joined each week by a mother guest star for an improv comedy show based on audience questions. Organizers explained the show as "like an advice column - but replace "Dear Abby" with women of questionable virtue and tastes."

Sarah 7 features Cortnie Jones, Stephanie Russo, Jenny Carlson, Teresa Kubos, Katie Sicking, and Liz Brammer. ColdTowne Theatre's resident comedians are three-time winners of the Austin Chronicle's "Best of Austin" Readers Poll for "Best Comedy Group" and have appeared at festivals and clubs across the nation.

Tickets for shows are $5 per person, and Thursday nights are "Couples Night." Couples of any form receive 2-for-1 admission.
