Judy Collins is known
for the stunning purity of her voice, and her eclectic tastes
in the material she records. An icon of American music, she
thrills audiences with her unique blend of interpretive folk
songs and contemporary themes.
Hailed as the
“First Lady of Folk,” Collins is best known for her
Grammy Hall of Fame rendition of “Both Sides Now”
and her award-winning version of “Send in the
Clowns.” Her impressive career has spanned more
than than 45 years.
She has released more
than 40 albums, has had numerous Top 10 hits, Grammy Award
nominations and gold and platinum selling albums.
Collins’ pure soprano and acoustic guitar playing
have recorded some of the most memorable songs in American
history.
Judy Collins performs
on August 27th at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $20,
$45, and $60.
Pre-concert dinners
served by World of Mouth Catering on the theatre’s
picturesque Piazza 90 are also available for an additional $35.
Doors open one hour early with half price drink specials
available at the bar prior to the show.
