John Caparulo grew up
in the Ohio Valley, but it wasn’t long before his dreams
would take him out West. After he graduated from Kent State
University he headed to Hollywood.
Upon his arrival in
the big city, he got a job as a doorman at the world-famous
Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard. It was there that he
honed his skills amongst some of the most prolific comics in
the business - including as Eddie Griffin, Joe Rogan, and
Andrew Dice Clay.
John was signed by
top-level representation and made his national television debut
on “The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn.”
Appearances soon followed on “Jimmy Kimmel
Live,” the Game Show Network’s “Funny
Money,” and Comedy Central’s “Premium
Blend.”
He recently performed
at the “Just For Laughs” comedy Festival, which led
to a development deal with Fox. He also recently appeared
on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and signed a
deal wiht Happy Madison/Sony for his own show at NBC.
John Caparulo
performs at Capitol City Comedy Club on Wednesday and Thursday
at 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
