Emmy Award-winning
comedienne Kathy Griffin returns to Austin for one night only
with at concert at The Long Center on August 5th at 8 p.m. in
Dell Hall. The star of Bravo's Emmy-Award winning series
“Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List,” tickets for
Griffin's performs go on sale Thursday, June 3rd, at 10 a.m.
Famous for her
self-deprecating humor and lampooning of celebrity culture,
Griffin is known for her four-year stint on the NBC sitcom
Suddenly Susan as "Vickie Groener," Brooke Shields'
acerbic colleague. In August 2005, "Kathy Griffin:
My Life On The D-List" debuted on Bravo to rave reviews,
which won Griffin back-to-bakc Emmy Awards in 2007 and 2008 for
"Outstanding Reality Program"
Griffin's HBO stand
up comedy specials are legendary, and she has has performed
three very successful stand-up specials for Bravo TV.
Griffin's Austin performance last two Austin performances
sold out far in advance of the concert dates.
