Armitage brings more than 20 years of performance, dance, and management experience to TexARTS - including productions on Broadway, touring companies, Radio City Music Hall, Disney and summer stock.  Getz joins the team with expertise in non-profit management, as well as significant experience as a professional singer and dancer.
"These two professionals will allow TexARTS to further develop and pursue its vision of producing outstanding theatrical performances involving Broadway professionals and local artists, and offering a Broadway level of arts education programs and children's theatrical

productions," Lewis said.
Co-founders Lewis and Dellinger will continue to lead the organization, and the new additions to the management team will allow the founders to work with other organizations while maintaining their ties to TexARTS.  Dellinger will serve as the Director of Arts Management at Rider University's Westminster College of Arts in Princeton, New Jersey.   And Lewis will continue as head of the Musical Theater Dance Program at Texas State University in San Marcos.
Both Lewis and Dellinger said that the organization is excited about this new chapter in the TexARTS story.  The Fall Academy Classes begin soon, and the organization plans to quickly launch a new season of theatrical performances.
The non-profit TexARTS produces Broadway-quality classic American musicals and plays, featuring both local talent and nationally-recognized artists.  The organization also offers artistic and educational productions throughout the year, utilizing working professionals from Broadway, university programs and arts centers.
TexARTS is located at 2300 Lohman's Spur in Lake Travis.  For more information, call (512) 852-9079 or visit at www.Tex-Arts.org.
