Symphony of Clouds
Ballet Austin and Pollyanna Theatre
January 22nd through 29th
AustinVentures StudioTheater

Ballet Austin - in collaboration with Pollyanna Theatre Company - present the restaging of Austin Ballet's trainee troupe in Symphony of Clouds, the childhood story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.  Performances run January 22nd through 28th at the AustinVentures StudioTheater.
Mozart was a famous musical prodigy at the age of five, and the production tells the story of the young Mozart, as his family and the rest of the world discover his amazing talent.  Mozart's love of nature greatly influenced his music and imagination, and elements from nature - including clouds, rivers, trees, and various animals - are used theatrically to tell his story.
Directed by Judy Matetzschk-Cambell, the production was written by Margaret Larlham.  Choreography by Sarah Rostoker, set to the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, features the Ballet Austin Trainees.
Performances of Symphony of Clouds will be on January 22nd, 28th and 29th at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day.  Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
The AustinVentures StudioTheater is located at the Butler Dance Education Center, located at 501 West Third Street.  For more information and reservations, call (512) 476-2163 or visit www.BalletAustin.org.
