Kick Butt Coffee House

Every Sunday night, poets and spoken word artists take the mic from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for an open-minded open mic experience. Hosted by The Crew FMI, the event is held at Kick Butt Coffee House.

Organizers say the public is invited to “bring words, make noise - bring yourself, make friends.” Sign up starts at 7 p.m., with one piece per turn per person. Speakers can resign up after each turn at the mic. Organizers ask readers to “be yourself - but respectful of the audience: no disrespecting woman or speaking ill of babies.”
