Saturday Nights at 10 p.m.
Hideout Theater

Every Saturday at The Hideout Theatre starting at 10 p.m., a dozen improvisers take tothe stage to compete for the audience's laughter and love.  The last man - or woman - standing is the winner and Maestro.
Twelve of Austin's virtuoso improvisers play games and scenes, which are then scored by the audience.  After each round, the low-scoring players are eliminated.
The show becomes more exciting until at the end, one player emerges victorious from the climax of hilarity.  The winner is awarded the title of Maestro for the week and presented the coveted Canadian five-dollar bill.
Maestro is Austin's longest-running, best-selling improv show.   Every scene or game takes a suggestion from the audience, and volunteers often are brought on the stage to help act out the scenes.
Performances of Maestro are every Saturday evening at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $10 per person, and are available at the box office 30 minutes before show time.
The Hideout Theater is located downtown at 617 Congress Avenue, between 6th & 7th Street.  For more information and reservations, call (512) HIDE-OUT (443-3688) or visit www.HideoutTheatre.com.
