ColdTowne Theater - Austin's main stage for alternative comedy - hosts a stand-up showcase that takes place every Friday at the coziest comedy room in Austin, Coldtowne Theater. Comfy couches and a free-wheelin' BYOB policy makes for an intimate and laid-back atmosphere that Austin audiences have come to expect and love.

The showcase features a variety of comics ranging from complete comedy noobs to road-tested pros. Many of the comics who perform at Live at Coldtowne you may recognize from Comedy Central, HBO, Letterman, Conan, and more.

Originally from from New Orleans, ColdTowne has won numerous awards for their smart, surreal improv. Each Wednesday night, Austinites can see the performers hold court on their own stage with some of ColdTowne Theater's up and coming talent.

Show time for Live at Coldtowne is 10 p.m., and admission is $5. Seating is limited and the couches go fast, so arriving at the theater at least 15 minutes before show time is highly recommended.
