The Vandegrift High School Theatre and Music Departments present Kiss Me, Kate, the Tony Award-winning musical by Cole Porter, based on a story by Sam and Bella Spewack. The show runs February 2nd through February 4th, at the Vandegrift High School Auditorium.

The musical is structured as a play within a play, where the interior play is a musical version of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. The classic Broadway staging features numerous songs that became American standards, such as "Another Op'nin', Another Show," "Too Darn Hot," "Wunderbar," "I Hate Men," and "Brush Up Your Shakespeare"

Tickets are $12 for reserved seating and $8 for general admission, and will be available at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and -erformances begin at 7 p.m. each night.
