Poison Apple Initiative will premiere the new dark comedy Holier Than Thou during the FronteraFest 2012 Long Fringe. Written by Bastion Carboni and directed by Bethany Perkins, the play runs January 26th through February 4th at the Salvage Vanguard Theatre.

Comprised of confessionals and interviews recorded before and after the expiration of a non-disclosure agreement, Holier Than Thou centers around a reality television competition in which contestants vie for the powers of Jesus. The dark comedy features Kacy Todd, Spencer Driggers, Devyn Ray, Austin Alexander, Ariane Powell, Joshua Baker and Melanie Conrad - with cameos from Aaron Alexander, Kelli Bland, Jen Brown, Katherine Craft, Juston Street and Bastion Carboni. Nathan Gray provides the film work.

Performances will run January 26th at 9 p.m., January 28th at 5:30 p.m., January 31st at 9 p.m., and February 4th at 8:15 p.m. Tickets are $12 for general admission
