Early Girl
Paladin Theatre Company
July 29th through August 22nd
Salvage Vanguard Theatre

Billed as "a new look at the oldest profession," Paladin Theatre Company stages the brothel-based drama Early Girl by playwright Caroline Kava.  The production runs July 29th through August 22nd at the Salvage Vanguard Theatre.
Directed by Charles P. Stites, the look behind the scenes at a brothel becomes a study of the passions, rivalries, jealousies, and frustrated ambitions of the working women.  Each woman has a unique story to tell: one is looking for her future, one is burying her past, one woman is looking for love, another is seeking a home, and one is searching for a revelation.   Lana, the madam and master manipulator, pulls the strings for each of the ladies in the house.
"Early Girl allows the audience to see how the prostitutes in Lana's house interact with each other, and how each woman deals with the toll the profession takes on them," said director Stites. "It's a funny, sexy, honest, and powerful play."
The cast features Wendy Zavaleta, Keylee Paige Koop, Karen Alvarado, Rose Fredson, Ashley Spillers, Lindsley Howard, and special guest Molly Karrasch.  The play contains mature themes and nudity.
Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 5:30 p.m.  Tickets are $20 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and $15on Thursdays.
The Salvage Vanguard Theater is located at 2803 Manor Road.  For reservations, call (512) 474-TIXS (8497) or visit www.PaladinTheatreCompany.com.
