CL1000P Round 2
Rude Mechanicals
February 2nd through 11th
The Off Center

The Rude Mechanicals will offer a sneak peek, work-in-progress showing of their latest stage creation, CL1000P Round 2 (working title), on February 2nd through 11th at The Off Center.  The interactive puzzle is inspired by alternative reality games and the imaginary world built by the Brontës.
Following a workshop production in December 2010, the creative team have thrown out most of the original production and started fresh.  Rude Mechanicals producers said the February workshop production will introduce and explore ideas that evolved from the original workshop - including audience mobility through the piece, audience opt-in interaction, puzzles, mystery and acting-within-acting.
"We're looking for your feedback: what's interesting, what's annoying, where should we go from here as we work toward a full production in May?" said Lana Lesley, co-producing artistic director.  "There will be a talkback with the cast and audience every evening, so come and let us know how we can make the play of your dreams."
Performances will run Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m., and tickets are $10.  The Friday, February 3rd, performance will be a fundraiser, with tickets at $100 per person.
The Off Center is located at 2211-A Hidalgo.  For more information and reservations, call (512) 476-RUDE (7833) or visit www.RudeMechs.org.
