For years, Cap City Comedy has hosted an Open Mic Night. And for years the Austin comedy scene has grown and produced some of the funniest comics working clubs today, writing and performing for hit television shows, and some merging into the Los Angeles and New York industries.

That's why Cap City Comedy decided it's time to see what Open Mic can do on its own - giving Austinite's a better glimpse into the world of "local" comedy. And the best part of all, attendees will be donating to a very worthy cause, as $1 of the $2 ticket price will be donated to the Austin Children Shelter.
