Every other Wednesday evening in June through August - for a total of six nights - Zilker Park will be filled with thousands of people, blankets and lawn chairs, families and music lovers. The 20th year of KGSR's "Blues on the Green" returns with free concerts, starting each night at 7:30 p.m.

As Austin's largest free concert series, the KGSR "Blues on the Green" consistently ranks as a top annual entertainment event. A staple of the Austin lifestyle, this year's lin-up includes

- June 9th: Texas Tornadoes

- June 23rd: Antone's 35th Anniversary Show,

with Carolyn Wonderland and special guests

- July 7th: Alejandro Escovedo

- July 21st: TBA

- August 4th: Charlie Mars with Amy Cook

- August 18th: Raul Malo

Performances are on the north side of Barton Springs Road, at the Zilker Park Rock Island. Guests are invited to bring picnic dinners or purchase food and beverages from the local vendors that will be at the event. Glass and alcohol are not allowed in Austin parks, but pets on leashes are permitted.
