What is the best childhood
toy ever? What band had the best lead singer? What sitcom
family rises above all others?
So far, The Best of Everything has
decided - with a panel of esteemed guests - just who was the
best rock n' roll frontman ever (David Byrne), what was the
best toy (Merlin) and even made a call on the best sexual
position (cowgirl). For October, the interplanetary,
interdimensional showdown will answer the question debated in
every comedy club: “Who is the greatest cast member in
the history of ‘Saturday Night Live’”?
The panel - including
local sketch comedians Chris Allen, Lance Gilstrap and Courtney
Hopkin - has stayed up late on Saturday nights for their
entire life just to attain the vast knowledge necessary to
debate this most important of topics. Hosting the heated
roundtable will be Asaf Ronen as the panelists will debate the
quandry live for the audience's entertainment, and their votes.
The smack down plays The Highball on Sunday, October
23rd, starting at 7 p.m.
Each month, new guests from
the worlds of comedy, music and literature will face off to
champion their pop cultural nominee towards supremacy. They'll
hash it out so the rest of us can finally shut up about it.
The Highball is
