"The Greatest Show On Earth" - Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus - returns to the Frank Erwin Center on August 17th through 21st with the new show Barnum 200. Featuring 130 performers from six continents and almost 100,000 pounds of performing pachyderms - plus cowboys, pirates, and mermaids - the theatrical event celebrates the 200th anniversary of the birth of the legendary showman P.T. Barnum.

Ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson will usher audiences aboard the Ringling Bros. Express and go uncover exotic characters and witness performances reminiscent of Barnum's original shows and museums from more than 150 years ago. Highlights include the Flying Caceres attempting to complete the elusive quadruple somersault on the flying trapeze - a feat that has not been mastered in more than three decades - plus the the Puyang Acrobatic Troupe from China, strongman The Mighty Meetal, and living statues husband-and-wife team Duo Fusion.

One hour prior show time, the circus hosts the free All Access Pre-Show - where families can meet the performers, get autographs, and see an elephant that paints - along with a backstage tour of the animals, both included in the admission price.

Performances run Wednesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday at 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 and $25, with $35 and $60 VIP Gold Seating and $80 Circus Celebrity Seating available. All tickets for opening night are $10.

Military save $7 on tickets to all performances with valid Military ID at the Frank Erwin Center box office, Ft. Hood ITR and Renaissance Records in Killeen. College and university students, faculty and staff save $5 on tickets to all performances except Opening Night with a valid ID at the Frank Erwin Center box office.
